Guy Beaudoin, Eng.

Consulting Director

Mr. Beaudoin has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. He is a specialist in directing real estate projects, as both a representative of the owner and as a member of conventional or PPP project teams. He has directed and coordinated a number of projects involving new building construction as well as restoration and renovation, from the pre-project phase through to the commissioning of new facilities.

Mr. Beaudoin began his career as a project engineer and director of operations in the manufacturing industry. During that time, he leveraged his training as an industrial engineer to grow value added production (VAP). Subsequently, and currently, that is, for more than 20 years, he has worked as a construction project director and director of major real estate operations.

Mr. Beaudoin renovated the Centre hospitalier Honoré-Mercier ($150 million) as the institution’s technical resource director. The project was the most complex ever conducted in the healthcare network. No precedent for decontaminating such a large building complex existed at the time, and the work had to be done with no service interruption for the population. Mr. Beaudoin has also conducted several other projects during his career, many of which have involved the maintenance of property assets and functional renovations.

Mr. Beaudoin has also coordinated many highly complex functional and technical programs, pre-feasibility studies and energy saving projects. Among others, he helped develop the functional and technical program for the new MUHC, along with energy saving projects.

During his career as a director in private businesses and large public and parapublic institutions, Mr. Beaudoin has built up major managerial skills to ensure property assets and technical services in those organizations are managed effectively.
