With a bachelor of electrical engineering and master of biomedical engineering specializing in clinical engineering, Ms. Jolicoeur has some 15 years of technology management experience in the health and social service network.
Working at CHU Sainte-Justine from 1997 to 2009, she successively held the positions of project manager, biomedical engineering department manager and senior management assistant as coordinator of technologies, information resources and biomedical engineering. Ms. Jolicoeur planned and implemented the reorganization resulting from the merger of technology sectors. She also directed information resource plans and medical equipment plans related to the CHU Sainte-Justine modernization projects.
Besides becoming particularly specialized in medical imaging, telehealth and medical computing during her engagements, she has experience in identifying medical equipment needs and issues, having especially worked on the preparation of business plans and funding applications involving medical technology based on institutional priorities.
Since arriving at CIM in 2009, Ms. Jolicoeur has, among other achievements, completed optimization and organizational diagnostic assignments in technology sectors (IR and BME) for healthcare institutions. She managed the biomedical engineering unit for a major hospital center on an interim basis and consulted during the reorganization of the technology and information resource department. She is currently managing a project to implement the radiology information system and integrate it into the clinical information systems in a university hospital center.
