Marie Bergeron, a member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec, has more than 30 years experience in real estate programming for healthcare establishments. She has been involved in numerous functional and technical programs, property master plans and studies for several health and social services establishments.
For 10 years of her career, Ms. Bergeron worked at an architectural firm where she was involved in all aspects of architectural production while specializing in the healthcare sector: programming, feasibility studies, design, preliminary and final plans and specifications, job site supervision and various studies. This experience enabled her to acquire extensive skills in hospital architecture, technical aspects of construction and coordination of the various aspects involved in a project.
Since 1992, Ms. Bergeron has pursued her career at CIM (previously Groupe CGO) where she is now responsible for the facility and management sector. Having worked for numerous health establishments of all types, she has extensive knowledge of this sector, in both its technical as well as its cultural aspects, and has a broad understanding of the Quebec healthcare system. Her many visits outside the province and the country coupled with her readings and various studies and research into the latest trends have provided Ms. Bergeron with the opportunity to continue building on her expertise and knowledge of major healthcare developments, involving both healthcare delivery systems and architectural aspects.
