Caroline Gagnon is an experienced manager, specialized in planning and development of special projects of strategic, complex and multidisciplinary nature. Bearer of a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in architecture from the Laval University, she’s been a member of the OAQ since 1989. In 1998, she started her career at the ‘’ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux’’ for the ‘’Direction de la construction (today the SQI)’’. In 1999, she becomes project director for Expertise 3S. There she develops many types of planning approaches.
Her career path leads her to found her own business, Topo Planification. She works there from 2002 to 2012. Afterwards, she settles in British Columbia, at Tetra Tech as director of research and development for planning. She gets familiar with the Western Canadian market and introduces herself to Lean design inspired planning methods.
Back in Quebec, she joins the CHU de Québec as assistant to the director of the new hospital complex (NCH). From October 2013 to January 2017, she structures and deploys the Lean mobilization approach for project planning – approach which will then be used as a model for the major mandates of Vaudreuil-Soulanges, HMR, Pierre-Boucher, Saint-Jérôme/Saint-Eustache and Gatineau.
Fueled by challenges, she always personalizes her approaches to the client’s specifications and expectations.
