Last Saturday, February 20th, the Charles-Bruneau Foundation held in virtual mode the 6th edition of its culinary event: the Charles-Bruneau gastronomic evening, presented by IGA, and where CIM Conseil was Major Partner. Guests and partners of the Foundation showed their great affection for the cause of children battling cancer by raising a total of $300 000.
Under the unifying theme of Sugar Time, guests took part in an interactive online experience from the comfort of their homes and enjoyed a ready-to-eat formula prepared by chef Martin Picard and his team from Cabane Au Pied de Cochon.
The actor-host Christian Bégin created intimate exchanges with speakers, including the Fondation’s spokespersons, actor Paul Doucet and anchorman Pierre Bruneau, as well as the event’s honorary president, Pierre St-Laurent, Executive Vice President – Quebec at Sobeys. Victoria Paquin, 11 years old, undergoing treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, was also on hand to deliver a moving testimonial.
