Holder of a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Université Laval, Dominique Ferron has worked in the health care network from the beginning.

Since 2013, Mr. Ferron has been involved in the construction of large hospitals. He is the project manager for the design, construction, activation and transfer of medical equipment at the Université de Montréal hospital research centre (CRCHUM), the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and the Université de Montréal hospital (CHUM). In 2018-2019, he was involved in the Quebec City university hospital (CHU de Québec) project where he organized and structured the planning process for the acquisition, delivery, installation and commissioning of medical, non-medical and IT equipment and furniture. He is also a project manager for the information resource department assigned to the expansion of Montréal’s Sacré-Coeur hospital and modernization of the Verdun hospital., working on infrastructure, networking, designated information systems and office equipment.

Thanks to his background, he knows the importance of effectively using human resources, complying with costs and deadlines and understanding the scope of projects. A capable team manager and communicator, he is energetic and effective, displays strong interpersonal skills and establishes a healthy, engaging and productive work environment, favourable to the achievement of objectives.
